How permits work

Zoning Application and Permit Process Flow 

How does this process actually work?  

• Submit your interest in obtaining a permit via our form

  • Zoning Permits - General, New Single Family Home, Six Month Temporary 

  • You will be asked for the following information

    • Email address

    • Type of Zoning Request

    • How many permits you will need

    • Address of the work

    • Name

    • Phone Number

    • Any additional comments

  • This information is submitted to the Township Zoning Secretary and Inspector

  • It will be reviewed and a Docusign document prepared 

    • You will receive an email from Docusign titled "Complete with Docusign"

    • Complete the document

    • Be sure to include any supporting documents

    • Payment can be completed at the township hall, via USPS or coming soon (fall of 2026) online payment to cover the application fees

  • The Zoning secretary and Inspector will review the final documents 

    • If everything is correct and in order you will receive an email with your Zoning Form
